I created this book when I worked in the schools as a music therapist and an artist in residence with a limited amount of time to see the students. I wanted each student to be successful so I created a play by number based on the harmonic changes of the song which limited the movement of the left hand until they had to time to progress on to the entire melody. I've taught countless numbers of children how to play the dulcimer through this very effective method. Play along tracks available under "Learn" /play along tracks.
